Red Velvet Brownie

This brownie recipe is fantastic. Soft and "gooey" on the inside and slightly crispy on the outside, with dark chocolate in the batter and chunks of white chocolate throughout. It's amazing!

For a 20x20 cm tray

  • 3 pcs Eggs

  • 250 g Sugar

  • 1 pcs Vanilla Essence

Whisk the eggs with the sugar and vanilla for 2 minutes.

  • 75 g Dark Chocolate (55%)

While the eggs are whisking, melt the chocolate, then add it in and mix for another minute.

  • 110 g Oil

  • 6 g Lemon Juice

  • 10 g Red Food Coloring (gel)

Combine the wet ingredients and add them to the egg and chocolate mixture, mixing until smooth.

  • 100 g Flour

  • 15 g Cocoa Powder

  • 10 g Cornstarch

  • 1 g Salt

Mix the dry ingredients, then gently fold them into the rest of the batter using a spatula. Pour the mixture into a 20x20 cm pan lined with parchment paper.

  • 100 g White Chocolate

Add the finely chopped white chocolate (or chocolate chips) and cover them with batter to prevent burning in the oven. Bake the cake for exactly 45 minutes at 160°C (320°F) no fan. After cooling, you can drizzle melted white chocolate on top for a more decorative look. :)
